Question: i'm looking to have a romantic getaway with my fiance in new york?

we live in new york, specifically dutchess county. we are willing to drive 2 - 3 hours... the closer the better. we are looking for a 'staycation' sort of thing. hotel, no more then $200/night. we are looking to drive there on a friday, and leave sunday afternoon/night.

any ideas?? romantic packages... romantic places...?? i'd kind of like to see some beautiful scenery, maybe rent a boat and sit on a lake one night under the stars... nothing too fancy in terms of fine dining or anything... just something where we can be comfortable but still have a romantic weekend... i'd like to be able to bring some Beautiful Pictures Home to remember the trip.. etc.

any ideas?? please! your help will be greatly appreciated as i'm no good at finding this kind of thing!
