Question: Do schools of interior design have students do practicums?

I am not color blind,but I have no sense of color. I can't pull together colors or accent pieces for my home. I have a beautiful historic home complete with oversized living and dining rooms, butler's pantry and third floor servant's quarters with living room, bedroom and full bath. I don't have much money, but worse than that, I have no "eye" for decorating. Where do I start?
I'd like to hear from someone who has worked with a student designer.

Answer: Interior Design Programs vary of course, but I am sure if you contacted a school in your area a student would be glad to assist you. This also gives the student a real world project which is very valuable for their work portfolio. Good Luck.

Question: If you were my parents Do you will do the same thing?

My family used to live in the country side of Ecuador we used to have tens of farms in my country in South America. We use to growth tons of corn and potato. We used to have abundant horses and we use to make home made liquor
I used to swim in the rivers and lagoons that were in our lands. And play in my mother inherited old and beautiful garden
It was so unforgettable. And we exchange all our fortune
for only two houses in New York. Somehow my parents thought that we will be better here.
My Question is if you were my parents Do you will do the same

Answer: The answer is straight...NO! Right now as a child i am thriving for some fresh air, a horse and a nice natural river to swim in. Those are my dreams, not all those modern things. I prefer natural over luxurious. Right now living in a city for me is more strict, boring and i have a shorter rope. If i lived at a lovely farm i would grove up in a nicer way and probably even be a better person because i would get out of the influences of the city. Live at the farm is way better.. trust me.

Question: this for readers of people magazine.did you read this week (with chris benoit on the cover) did u read yet it?

there is a story about a story about the five teenagers who died in new york (it is not upstate new yourkbut it is in western ny near rochester (my back yard) and i like to remark of what one of the football players did on the hill of fairport high. he part down fairport angels of 07. it was a really sad story.

Answer: I was at the funeral of a very good man today, a man who was celebrating his 55th wedding anniversary with his loving wife and who was KILLED by a stupid teenager who was speeding and jumped the median, crashing into my friend's car. His wife was severely injured but, fortunately, it looks like she's going to live. We don't know if she'll be crippled as a reult of the accident or not.

So, no, I don't feel particularly sorry for the teenagers in your story. I was a teenager once and I managed to live through it without injuring anyone, even myself, because I was a safe driver.

I'm just glad they didn't kill any innocent people going about their own business the way my friend was
