Question: Why do some people's homes look like show homes? How do they do it?

A couple girlfriends I know have homes that are so beautifully decorated, etc. I'm thinking I could never have that because I have clutter everywhere. How do they do it?

Answer: Mostly they stick to a particular style of furniture and accessories. A furniture store will have people who can help you stick to one style. The better stores like Bloomingdale's will have professional decorators on staff.

If you aren't really creative about decorating look through magazines or websites until you find a style you like.

Unless you have tons of money take your time and be patient to find just the right pieces to go in your room. But if you 're like most of us we have sentimental attachments to certain things that would look cluttery in a stylized decorated room.

Question: Hooking up an xbox to a JVC DVD home theater system?

I have a JVC DVD Digital TH-M303 Home Theater system. The connections on my TV are old and produce a highly distorted xbox picture. I want to hook it up to the dvd system because the DVD picture quality on the screen is excellent, I just don't know where to plug in the cables in the back of the DVD unit. Can anyone help me?

Answer: The two previous answers sound pretty good, but let me add my 2 cents. If you are having a problem getting it to work, then you will have to change the input on the DVD player. For example, I have a DVD recorder that has mulptiple inputs (cable, s video and even red/white/yellow input on the front).

Remember this, just because your DVD looks good on the TV doesn't mean that your xbox will look as good because your audio and video is only as strong as your weakest connection. To further clarify, if you are running component video and optical audio from your DVD player to your TV and running left/right/video (red/white/yellow cables) from your xbox to your DVD player, then the best reception you can hope for is the red/white/yellow.

Question: i would like to start a busimess from home. are there any free resourses?

i wouldn't mind working from my home computer--maybe freelance or other options. i also make unique and one of a kind silk floral arrangments (including cemetary balnkets). they are beautiful. i would also enjoy designing web pages orother pages such as magazines. any suggestions
