Question: home improvement using "VARNISH"?

I bought a few picture frames today that didn't match my furniture. I really liked them and said "Hey I'll buy some matching varnish and everything will be fine" Well it's been 4 hours since I put a thin coat of varnish on these frames and it's still very sticky. When does the varnish dry? Thanks
yes it's oil based

Answer: it depends on what the varnish is based on water based varnish dries quicker oil based varnish will take up to 24 hours.

it also depends on the climate warm weather faster setting cold would be slower

check the tin for guidelines
