My man and I have just bought a new home, it was built in the 70's in a very upscale part of town. We are surrounded by big beautiful homes owned by doctors, lawyers, and the like. My man and I are both young, modern, and in the entertainment industry. The home's exterior is brick and very classic. The interior is done in the federal style with the giant fireplace and those huge light fixtures. We are wanting to keep the classic look on the outside but update the interior with a very modern, spa like atmosphere in every room. Think, bamboo cabinets (cabinets made of bamboo, not look like bamboo), river rock tiles, copper soaking tub, stainless steel appliances... Where can we go for some inspiration in a town consumed with the older "Classic" look?
