Question: Any good decor advice for 1st time home owners?

Well not mortgAGE own but rent to own. Me and my bf found a BEAUTIFUL perfect little cute house! Its 3 bedrooms,yard,finished basement,appliances,garage,newly renovated and landscapin all ready done : ) But i never had my own home. Im 24 and my bf is 22
We are gonna be paying $850.00 a month plus obviously water,gas and electric. Its only us. i dont know what to do to fill the other 2 rooms?? We have also have a living and obviously a dining room so thats not too hard..We have free range with painting ext..
I have a lot of little neices and nephews so should i make a little room for them? In case they stay??
We have a big yard ANY suggestions?? My bf wrks frm home so the basement will be turned into an office. Basically i just want to know what you did to fill a home when its just 2 people? Any help would be great?!

Answer: Well I have a friend who just moved in down the street. It sounds like they have almost the same setup. They have a living room, dining room, basement, office, and two bedrooms. One bedroom they made a small sitting room with just a few pieces of furniture that could be easily moved. This is for when they have their first baby, so they can move the things out and have the nursery in there. If you plan on having kids it might be a good idea to do the same. You could also make another small sitting room that would double as a playroom. They just have a small bookcase with a few kids books and bins of small toys, like Lego's and stuffed animals. They also have a cabinet with a tv in it in there so there's another TV room.
You could get a twin bed and put it in the room to double as a guest room for relatives when they stay over.

It might be nice to have a little garden in the backyard. You could also put some patio furnature back there and get a fire pit. (not an in-ground one, just a little one you might find at home depot)

Question: Do You Miss Christmas The Day After Christmas?

I know I do. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, a couple of radio stations plays nothing but Christmas music 24/7, people deocorate their homes with beautiful lights, on tv there are hundreds upon hundreds of christmas themed tv shows and movies constantly airing, and even the commercial advertisements on tv and in magzines and newspapers are all Christmas themed. All the christmas trees and decorations, etc. And then the day after Christmas, with the exception of the still decorated homes, it's all over in an instant as if someone flipped a switch. That quick. No more Christmas music on the radio. No more christmas themed movies and tv shows. Not even Christmas themed advertisements, etc.

Answer: oh yeah, such a big let down. all thats anticipation is over and you have to wait a whole year till christmas comes back again. =(
