Question: relaxing hair at home question!!?

i saw in a magazine a product where you can relax your hair at home and i want to try it but i wanted to see if anyone else has tried these and what have the outcomes been? the magazine lists "Soft & Beautiful Ultimate Protection No-Lye Creme Relaxer System" and its says its pretty cheap ($7)..so if anyone has used it or any kind..help tell me about the results and if they work and are safe

Answer: Is your hair currently relaxed? If so, then be super careful because if you overlap the relaxer then your hair WILL fall out, and I'm sure you don't want to be nearly bald.

If you've been relaxing then what type and strength of relaxer has your beautician used on you? You can't just go into any store and pick up a box of relaxer and expect it to get your hair straight. At worst you might over-process your hair and it'll fall out, and at the least you'll under-process your hair and your roots will stay the same; or, if you've never relaxed your hair, then under-processing will leave your hair the same, with not effect.

Beauticians are able to to evaluate your hair and determine brand and strength of relaxer to use on your hair. You're not able to do this. But, think of it this way, if you completely mess up your hair and it falls out then you can always regrow it. Now, if you mess it up and under-process it then I'd advise going to a beautician and asking for a corrective relaxer rather than trying to relax again.

Question: how do i get a grant to refurbish a historical home?

I live in a the first neighborhood ever in Spartanburg SC. Through the years the Crime has taken a toll on this once prestine neighborhood. Our Mayor has made it one of his highest points of agenda. I have lived here for three years and have seen it come alive again. I want to refurbish a beautiful yet very neglected 1910 home. I am 35 and I plan to watch this neighborhood grow again to what it was once and what I am sure it can be again. I am not a rich woman by any means and that is why I am searching for grants to keep our history in our towns so we can share and pass down to our children and not just a scrapbook of pictures of these beautiful homes.

Answer: I don't actually know, but you might get info from city hall, or maybe there is a "historical foundation or society" in your town/city. They may be listed in your phone book.

Question: What kind of lights can i get that are really cheap but effective?

i would like to take some really beautiful pictures at home like they do in the photography studios but with little to no budget what can i use to start off with?

Answer: Will you please stop and really THINK about what you are asking. Do you believe the photos that are done in a pro studio are done with "really cheap" equipment? Come on.... PLEASE use a little common sense. You are not going to do CHEAP and have results that equal photography studios.

Go to Home Depot and get some painters lights or buy some cheap kit from Ebay... but please stop expecting steak from turds. You get what you pay for.
